After the masking that Ford had so far placed on the front and rear ends of the car, has gone, we can see that there will be a substantial amount of change to the Mondeo's styling, including a new grill and a unique design of fog lamps and daylight driving lights. The lamp housings mounted at the rear are still covered but we can start to make out the differences to the current model. Also a possibility are integrated LED lights for the rear.
The facelifted Ford Mondeo may also come available with the brand's 2.0-litre EcoBoost gasoline/petrol engine with 203 hp now featured in the Galaxy model. A line of diesels will also be on offer, with Ford's 2.0-litre TDCi engine tuned to either 115, 140 or 163 hp. The new Ford Mondeo is expected to debut later this year, perhaps at the Paris auto show in September.
