Just before the Alfa Romeo 149 drove into the development center of Fiat a spy photographer managed to caught the on camera. At the same spot this week the Fiat Sedici facelift also didnot escape to the eye of the camera. The Australian website CarAdvice.acom.au published these Alfa Romeo 149 prototype photos .
Alfa Romeo is still developing on the successor of the 147. And they should, because the 147 has already been outdated to meet competition (in the same market segment as the BMW 1- series, Audi A3 series and the Volkswagen Golf).
But isn't it just a Fiat Bravo with an Alfa front ?
That's is true. Technically the 149 is based on the Fiat Bravo. But no worries, it is a new mule of the 149. Underneath and inside the car, it is a genuine 149 Alfa Romeo and also the front is typically Alfa Romeo. But to keep the design as secret as possible Fiat is driving around with these prototypes. On short notice eventually prototypes will be developed and Spyshots.nl will publish them.
